Missy

On May 1, 2002, a guy named Walker asked a girl named Missy to break up with her boyfriend and marry him. And so the whirlwind began.

Since that day, this couple has: planned a big ole wedding, buried a grandfather, experienced her dad’s divorce, gotten married, gotten pregnant, sold a house, bought a house, moved to a new community, quit her job, had a baby boy, gotten pregnant, had a baby girl, gotten pregnant, changed churches, switched his job, tried to sell a house, had a baby girl, gotten pregnant, switched his job again, and had a premature baby boy.

Oh, and Missy’s hairstyle has changed several times during this period as well.

So much change in such a short period of time has impressed upon her how sovereign our Heavenly Father is, and how completely in control of our lives he is – both the big things, and the “small” things, even when it seems like utter chaos.

Thank God. Because Missy can’t even get the laundry put away.
