Sometimes, I just need a reminder . . .

So much to think about. So much going on these days. Who can keep up? Economic woes, family responsibilities, national and world issues, personal weaknesses, societal pressures and changes . . . the list is endless. And to that endless list we can add our own personal list of "life's surprises." NOW we have an eternally flowing fountain of distractions that can (and does) pull us in a thousand mental directions - every day.

So, every now and then, I need a reminder. I need to be reminded that despite the never ending barrage of thoughts and responsibilities and enemy arrows and LIFE that is flying in my direction, there is One who isn't affected. There is One who knows. There is One who is holy and faithful and powerful and in control. He is my Fortress and my Refuge.

And . . . He loves me.

In confusion and in Certainty,

In failure and in Victory,

In loss and in Gain, You are Sovereign.

In weakness and in Strength,

In death and in Life, You are Sovereign.

You are Faithful, True, Holy, Amazing!

Oh God, who is like You in all the earth?

When I can’t hear you - You are there.

When I can’t see you,

When I can’t feel you - You are there.

When I can not find you,

When I’m not looking for you - You are there.

Working out Your plan,

In Your time -

In Your way -

To Your Glory.

You are Faithful, True, Holy, Amazing!

Fear not, for I am with you; be not afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

A few thoughts: Is God big enough to take care of us? Is He really big enough for real problems? Is He big enough for our problems? Is He big enough for THE issue that comes to your mind right now? Of course He is!! You just needed to be reminded :)
