What a wonderful giveaway!
This spring I plan to spend more time reflecting on my gifts that God has given me. We just moved out to the country and are situated right next to a river....it's the perfect spot to sit and communicate and meditate.

I have started walking up our cul-de-sac in the afternoons since it is so springy here! On my i-pod, I listen to Nancy Leigh DeMoss' radio programs. That's how I rejuvenate me spirit!
This spring I love taking long walks just through the neighborhood looking at God's greatness all around us. This always renews my spirit.
Your cutie-button is already on my page! I didn't specifically write this post for this occasion, but I think it fits. I've recently experienced something of a spiritual shake-up and have been feeling convicted in areas that I've never given much thought to before.
One area I'm changing and refreshing is starting to memorize scripture again. It's been a long time, but suddenly I realize the importance.
I'm counting my blessings this spring. Literal pen to paper jotting (I'm a visual kind of gal). It's so easy to get hung up on what we don't have that I think we forget to be thankful for the many things we DO have. It's all about the little things around here. This is one way I plan to revive the fire this spring.

I've been spending more time each day thanking God for his blessings. I had found myself getting wrapped up in all the stuff that was going wrong and forgetting to be thankful. God gives us so much that we sometimes overlook such as a beautiful night sky.

I am reading the Bible thru again this yr....and now that it is Spring, I like to read it outside or at least by an open window...hearing the birds sing and feeling the fresh air revives my spirits.

I am choosing to renew and refresh myself this spring simply by trying to relax and soak up Jesus. I have decided that I cannot control what others do (even my two year old!) and as a result, I have become so much happier. I try to be aware of God and what He is trying to show me during the day, and I find that I am more patient and self-controlled. Jesus renews my strength everyday if I stay on track with Him!

Hooray for this great giveaway! Spring always gets me in the mood to shake off the old and put on the new - I do it with my house - and this week I have done it with a journal and my Bible. I have never done this before but when I read a passage, I immediantly jot down what it means to me and then go thru and read it again. It's been great. I also dug out some great praise and worship music and jammed with my boys in the house yesterday, it was one of the best days we have all had in a long time - how can it not be when you are praising God together?

I'm thinking spring is a great time to get this BLACK cloud that has been hanging over our family this winter to move away! Depression is a heavy cross to bear especially when the depressed one does not see himself as depressed. I've renewed myself to be more diligent to pray for my husband every hour of the day I'm awake. Lord; we need Help! I'm trusting in him!

this past year is the first year i've really had a bigger desire to know the word. with motherhood pressing hard on me, i know i don't get as much time as i'd like to just sit and read, and i've made it a point this year to do bigger reads, even if i don't feel like it!

I am going to rejuvenate my spirit by losing the negativity, and embracing the gift of gratitude. My life is literally overflowing with blessings, but I oftentimes let the little, inconsequential stresses of life get me down. I have three happy, healthy, and vibrant children, and a husband who cleans the bathtub and brings me chocolate--what more could anyone want?

I've been rejuvenating my spirit by attending the Lenten services at church on wed. What a great time to take the focus off of myself and bring it to the Cross. By doing this I have been a better neighbor to those around me... my family, my church family, my community.

I reflect a lot more on my needs versus wants, and it's surprising to learn what a blessing it is to get by without wanting so much, stuff which takes time away from more spiritual matters. I am trying to live up to God's expectations by helping others; recently I have signed up to volunteer at a non-profit organization and donated blood quarterly to a blood bank. These little acts have contributed to my goals as a religious person. Thanks for the entry!
