Heather Cox
Heather Cox spends her days sweeping up cheerios, playing with play-dough and reading brightly illustrated books. Somehow, she manages to squeeze prayer in between the craziness that is motherhood, marriage and ministry. She calls herself a "Mommy Monk" because she is attempting to find inner solitude in the daily self-denial of motherhood.
Her family lives in the middle of farm country, surrounded by lakes and woods, which they eagerly explore. Heather's husband is a marriage and family counselor and an avid outdoorsman. They have three terrific children ages 7, 5 and 3.
Heather is a teacher at heart and has taught High school and middle school math for seven years. In 1994, she followed God's leading to Ukraine as a missionary for two years. She returned with a clear calling on her life to speak God's truth in love to all who would listen. She completed her master's in Biblical studies at Moody Graduate School in Chicago.
These days Heather commits her time to ministry with children and women who are hungry for more than just the cheerios under the table. Her passion is to teach the truth of the Word of God in a way that motivates listeners to seek Him wholeheartedly and fill up on His truth.
