Oh goodness, I don't remember the specific one, but I remember it was around Thanksgiving and it was a post about asking if you ever just pray and thank God instead of asking Him to do things. I remember thinking to myself that I have done that and had wondered if others ever thought about it as well - turns out - they do! Happy New Year!

I honestly don't even remember how I found you all but I am so glad that I did. Each and everyone of your devotionals have touched me in some way and I can't pin point just one that jumped out at me. I hope I can still enter. Keep up the good work. I love all your hearts.
Hugs.

I really enjoyed your "train them up" post that was posted this past August. It is very important that we teach our children from a very young age...Thanks for the daily encouragment...I look forward to more blessings here in 2009!

Every post is a blessing. They encourage me - especially when I feel like I'm in this "motherhood" world all alone! It is always neat when the posts seem to speak to me directly!
God Bless!

I found this site a few months ago through my cousins blog. I was in a dark place and found inspiration in many of your posts but one in particular really hit me. I even blogged about it a few days later. The post was "Breathing Patience."
My husband and I have been trying to start a family for a year and a half now and well one becomes very impatient and just doesn't understand. This verse that was in the post became my anchor so to speak. "Though it tarry, wait for it." Habakkuk 2:3

Thank you all for sharing your thoughts and hearts with us. May your new year be blessed.

I've saved several of the blogs over the past few months. I was looking back over them. "Could This Be The Year" once again blessed me. In some ways I hope it is the year Christ returns. But on the other hand, there are so many that I love that are lost....I so want Jesus to tarry until they come to Him.

Thanks for all the encouraging posts. I look forward to them daily.

I am going to comment on your posting for today on looking on your faith and on how the ways you could be depressed. I have been in to the pity parties way to times and it is time to go to the faith parties and be happy for the blessings we have now.

I am going to send this post to my daughter so see can hopefully see something positive in her life that comes from someone other than her mother. God bless you.

One of the most memorable posts for me was the one about spending time in the Word -and making it a priority- first. The photo of the writer's Bible underneath her laptop was worth a thousand words. I see that picture in my mind when I start to think about my priorities. Thank you!

My favorite post was Sept 3rd. Ignoring the serpent. I have a folder in my inbox email since I get all the feeds from RSS. I save all the ones I really like and I should save all of them. They all are awesome!! So encourageing! But this one...ignoring the serpent was so profound and really impacted me! THanks for your ministry--I look forward to reading them each day! Blessings to you this 2009!

Seriously. How DOES one pick one's favorite(s)?!?!?!? I learn something from each one; there have been several that I've passed on to girlfriends, always with the message "GOOD word!!!" I've emailed several of the authors, visited new blogs, and been majorly blessed by the Cafe. THANK YOU for providing such a place of growth and safety.
BE BLESSED!!!

I have been reading CWO for some time now but just recently found the devotions page. Something drew me to look it up tonight. I read through some of the posts. They really hit to the heart. I sent the site to work so I can start my day with a devotion. Thank you so much for this wonderful ministry.

I just started reading this blog about a week ago but God has used it in very specific ways in my life. I have been struggling with a daughter who has some behavioral/emotional issues. Each day is a constant battle. On Dec. 31st I had been praying that God would give me His peace and then, when I pulled out my laptop to read your blog as a part of my time with the Lord, the devotion reinforced everything I had been praying about trusting God for His peace. Then, the next day, the same thing happened as I realized I had to take my eyes off of myself and more on Christ. Again, the blog for Jan 1 reinforced all that I was praying. You guys continue to amaze me with how God uses you to speak directly to my heart.

Thank you. Carol
