Cafe Chat - October 18, 2008

 1 Corinthians 10:23 (NIV) "Everything is permissible"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible"—but not everything is constructive.

Today’s question is inspired by the verse above.   There are definite things that we know scripturally in life that are bad for us (sins), but what about those things in life that are so called “good”.  Things that are not a sin, but things that we as a society label as good things.   Today’s question asks you to probe into your life and find an situation where the verse above became real to you. 

 What is something in your life that was a “good” thing, but as in the verse in 1 Corinthians states was something that although good, was not beneficial or constructive for you?
