I have to say that I relate most to the woman Jesus met at the well. I was far from God, living life my own way, doing what I wanted, when I wanted and whatever felt good at the time.

I was a very angry and bitter person, and I had a lot to be angry and bitter about!!

A co-worker (who has since become my best friend and mentor) saw the need in me, reached out and introduced me to Jesus.

I can't say that my life hasn't still been filled with mountains and valleys, but I'm dealing with them with God's help, wisdom and guidance. And in each instance of my life, I've been able to look back and see how God has used these circumstances to fulfill His purposes.

I've also forgive those who have hurt me in the past--what a freeing feeling!! I just didn't realize that unforgiveness ultimately hurts me so much more than the person I was holding a grudge against.

Thank you for this site and the opportunity to learn more everyday, experience more everday. It's uplifting to wake up in the morning, read a devotion, ponder this, and thank God for all He has done and will continue to do in my life!!

That's true SAILOR CROSS. When God steps into your life, all the hurt and pain become pale in comparison to the wonderful, new life that Christ offers you. He also places people in your life who will help you to endure the rough patches that you will face. This reminds me of the scripture that says : All things work together for good to those who are called according to His purpose. I've realized that no matter what situation I find myself in, God will deliver.

Depending on the day, I relate to many women in the bible. Today, I feel like Eve. I am responsible for nurturing the garden of my family, and every once in a while, I compromise myself against my better judgement. All too soon, my husband and children follow. I realize everyone is responsble for their own actions, but I often feel like I have the weight of the world on me. However, I also feel honored that God has given me the immense role of mother and wife and though I fail daily at being all I can be, I am grateful for His grace and His washing me new every morning.
