Ayiesha Woods - Love Like This CD Giveaway!!!

I am so excited about Ayiesha's new album!

When I popped this CD in and began listening to the pop/rock/gospel tunes like Love Like This, Alive, and Love Can't Wait I was pleasantly surprised at just how great this album really is. Each of Ayiesha's songs carry a different mood and message so you couldn't possibly get bored while listening to it. There is such joy and love for our savior oozing from the lyrics. It is fabulous! I seriously wouldn't doubt if she has many hits from this one album. If I could only use two words to describe it I would have to say FRESH and UPLIFTING!! I highly recommend it to all my girls!

Ayiesha has been nominated for a Grammy in the category Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album and her new CD entitled Love Like This was released on September 9th.

We have two copies of her CD to giveaway. In order to win you must go listen to some of her songs that are listed below and leave a comment stating which one you liked best and why. Be sure to leave your email so that we can contact you if you win. The contest will end on Sunday, September 21st at midnight CST and the winner will be announced on Monday, September 22nd.

I love Ayiesha Woods and I loved listening to her new songs! I liked the song, "New Beginnings" the best! It was as though the lyrics were written about my life. I've been through some really painful trials, but the Lord has mended my heart and now I see New Beginnings emerging. The song makes me feel like dancing and celebrating the goodness of God.

She has a lot to and it is wonderful how she is sharing her faith through her beautiful voice and music. Her song "Days" says a lot to me. So many times I wonder why three are days that many people feel they can't get through. Two lines in this song made sense to me: "If every day were easy, You couldn't say Jesus brought your through." The second line is: "You gotta go through something if you wanna get somewhere." Thanks for a chance at winning her fabulous CD.

"Refine Me" speaks to me. I like the soft way the song begins, building to the climatic end.

Ms Woods is new to me. I just listened to "Refine Me" and her bluesy voice and beautiful words had me leaning back, closing my eyes and taking it all in. Thanks for the listen. What a nice way to start the day.

I enjoyed all of her songs, but especially love the "groove" of "New Beginings" and "One Day". I can imagine listening to these while driving around with the windows down!

OK, this is just too hard. I listen to one and say oh, this one. Then I listen to the next one and .... well, you get it! I guess if I have to choose, I would say "Love Like This" since it goes so closely with the subject matter of our current sermon series, so it spoke to me.

BUT I LOVE 'EM ALL!!!!

I love AYIESHA!
(been entering to win this one all over the blogosphere ... PLEASE pick me!!!)
Thanks!

I saw Ayiesha and her adorable brother at WOF in St. Louis this spring. Amazing. I love "Big Enough" from her 1st CD. I would have to say "Love Like This" from this one. I don't own either one, though....

I like the song "Transparent", because that has been one of my goals for a long time - to be transparent in my relationship with God and others.

New beginnings is the song that stood out for me. Just recently I got into a huge misunderstanding with my family-in-law with whom I am VERY close to. We worked through it and have vowed to start over...only with the grace of God is this possible. And the Love that we feel for eachother will last forever as we are also brother/sisters in Christ. Only that way can we have New Beginnings and a love that lasts!

I really couldn't choose one...but Refine Me was awesome as well as Take me There. Her songs always speak to me at just the right time! I've fell in love with her BIG ENOUGH cd most recently when I've been doing a lot of struggling and I had no idea she had a new CD. I can't wait to go get it and put it on my ipod!

This is such a good album!!! I listened to every song you have posted, and at first I thought my favorite was "Never"...but as the list when on, I added one after another. I think "Because of You" may have taken the cake though! This song is the cry of my life to my wonderful Lord and listening to it reminds me of all He is doing and has done in my life!

All I can say is, win or lose, I hope to own this CD before too long!

Thanks for all you do!

I read about Ayiesha in a Brio magazine I got....I think she is so cool! Her voice is awesome and her songs are upbeat and fun but with lyrics a christian girl in today's day and age can listen to. There are so many songs I have to look up the lyrics to before I buy them because you never know what words the artist slipped in. Ayiesha is great, and I LOVE the whole CD:) My favorite would have to be......since I have to choose....Fight! This song has an awesome rhythm and is so true for me, I cry about everything and stress and worry about everything and I am learning that I have to 'stand on up and fight this thing!' :):):)

Love always,
Maddie
