August 9th - Cafe Chat

What is one thing or cause that you are passionate about? (More specifically, something you feel that the Lord has burdened your heart with)

The body of Christ is so diverse. I expect that we will see all kinds of answers for this week’s post. I am sure that our answers can change depending on the seasons of our lives too. Blessings and I am looking forward to reading your answers this week.

Blessings,
Kim

Another good question, and hard to choose only one thing. Blessings to all.

Ladies,

I need to take time to get to all your blogs to read your answers in depth... I hosted a double b/day party today, so I couldn't participate... I will try to come by later, because as I just eyeballed your answers they were to good just to read through quickly... Blessings!!!

(from one fidgeter??? to another) I wonder if that could be a new Hymn, Prone to Fidget, Lord I feel it, prone to wiggle all day long...

Seriously, back on topic:
Passion? thank you for asking...I know it will sound corny but I am passionate about the Lord - and I don't mean the "Sunday School Answer". See more at abidingbranch.blogspot.com.

I am passionate to let others know that Christians can experience and overcome "depression". My husband has it and it is a vicious cycle but God is my strength b/c i am not strong enough to fight this battle.

I am passionate about building relationships with my community at large whether it be fellow public school moms, my neighbors, the barista at Starbucks or soccer parents. They need to see the love of Jesus not only in word but deed and in the form of unconditional love.
