Especially with those "pre-planned" arguements.

God really does use our imaginations to draw us closer to Him. It is a thought that struck me the other day.

I've been a storyteller ever since I can remember. Had the unfortunate habit, though, of telling my far-fetched stories as if they were true and I had been an eye-witness. I was horrified when I realized this meant I was lying to my friends everytime I told a story out of my imagaination. I begged God to make sure I never ever told another story.

Instead, He has been giving me story after story for years now. Some of them have started in very wrong places for the characters but ended up revealing spiritual truths that impacted me deeply. Just this week I was able to say of those things, "He can even redeem that. WOW!"

Imagination is the thing that is necessary to empathize with others, in a way foresee the possible consequences of a decision, or it can be used to plan terrible things.

Thanks for stopping by my Thankful Thursday. It brought me here and I enjoyed reading this post very much. (First time I've gotten a link to CWO to work -- all the links for other blogs just never seem to work ... "blogmarked" this one and now I should be able to get here again.)SuseADoodlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02203027336864059578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3027179631891898735.post-75191946748548500512007-09-06T12:06:00.000-05:002007-09-06T12:06:00.000-05:00Laurel,....God will use our imaginations to help u...Laurel,

....God will use our imaginations to help us draw closer to him and to display his glory....

Just beautiful.
