I do however have the spiritual gift of mercy. Does that mean I will never volunteer to serve. Also, I feel good about myself after having worked in service for the Lord. So, that is great the children are learning this lesson at such a young age.Lisa@BlessedwithGracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17071661413559588422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3027179631891898735.post-18715992029489626842008-07-08T08:14:00.000-05:002008-07-08T08:14:00.000-05:00a good lesson for all of us to learna good lesson for all of us to learnmarkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03990554195628442331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3027179631891898735.post-7409945911814236952008-07-08T07:01:00.000-05:002008-07-08T07:01:00.000-05:00What a great idea, to impress on kids the importan...What a great idea, to impress on kids the importance of having a servant's heart! It's the most selfless job there is. You just can't be selfish or everyone around you is going to be miserable, including yourself. It was a hard lesson learned but now serving my family has become a wonderful ministry for me and I love it.Not saying that the selfishness monster does creep up now and again but not like he used to.
Great post!
Blessings,
KimKim @ Homesteader's Hearthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03787975654863452911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3027179631891898735.post-3153775114984586772008-07-08T00:28:00.000-05:002008-07-08T00:28:00.000-05:00Bless you sweetie.Bless you sweetie.Denisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09275456448997619944noreply@blogger.com
